Kristina Fixter –  Executive Director

Kristina joined the Essentient team in October 2026, bringing more than 20 years of experience in strategic communications, marketing, association leadership, and stakeholder engagement.

She is passionate about helping associations strengthen member value, grow their communities, tell their stories, and turn priorities into results. Her experience spans membership growth, communications, events, sponsorships, digital marketing, and strategic planning.

Known for a collaborative and creative approach, Kristina works closely with boards, committees, members, and stakeholders to move ideas from strategy to execution.

Prior to joining Essentient, Kristina served as Executive Director of a national member-based organization, where she led membership and revenue growth while expanding programs, partnerships, and national engagement. Her broader career includes roles with a wide range of national and international associations, giving her extensive experience navigating the opportunities unique to member-based organizations.

A longtime Brampton resident, Kristina lives with her husband and their two sons. Outside of work, she enjoys writing, getting lost in a good book, and spending time with family.
